A MOTHER’S STORY OF MURDER It was three weeks to Christmas in 1989 when four-year-old Christopher Milke was reported missing from a Phoenix-area shopping mall. Within 30 hours, detectives were led to the little boy’s body, which they found curled in a foetal position in a desert northwest of the city. The cause of death was three hypervelocity bullets to the back of the head from close range. Today, Christopher’s mother is a one-woman death row in an Arizona State Prison, convicted of having cold-bloodedly sent her only child to his execution under the pretext of having him visit Santa Claus. Prosecutors charged that motherhood interfered with Debra Jean Milke’s other ambitions, so she manipulated her smitten roommate, a troubled Vietnam veteran, into carrying out the murder. Milke’s German-born mother has made an international sensation of a case that she says hinges on the unsupported word of one police officer and the vengeful testimony of embittered family members. Is Milke guilty of orchestrating the murder of a little boy she considered an inconvenience or is she yet another example of the carelessness with which American courts hand out the death penalty?

How to make your own overall length guage on your reloading bench. What this does is allow you to take a empty cartridge case and make a OAL guage that is cheap and one that works. Once you take your initial measurement you should repeat the process three times to confirm the data you’re getting. Once you know the measurement set your seating depth deeper by .010″ initially. The reason is the seating die seats off the ogive. Bullet tips vary due to manufacturing process but the ogive is constant. Knowing this you’ll improve your accuracy potential conciderably. You can experiment to find the “sweet spot”. Once you find the best OAL write it down. If you’re like me you have several bullets that you use for different shooting scenarios.
